HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

The meaning of self management is the science and art that govern the process of human resource benefits and other resources effectively and efficiently to achieve a goal .Management itself consists of six elements (6 M): men, money, method, materials, machines and the market (SP Malay Hasibuan). Equation HRM with personnel management is both a science that regulate the human element in an organization, for the realization of goals.
          While the differences in HRM with the management personnel are:
1. HRM studied at the macro, while the micro-management personnel reviewed
2. In the HRM considers employees as the main wealth of the organization, so it should be maintained, while the personnel management of employees is a factor of production, so it must be used productively.
3. HRM in a modern approach, being a classical personnel management.
           HRM is a specialized management field study of human relationships and roles within the company or organization.Jadi studied in HRM is problems associated with human labor. The focus of the discussion of HRM is about setting the human role in realizing the goal of optimal, where the setting itself includes problem of planning, organizing, directing, controlling, procurement, development, compensation, integration, maintenance, discipline, and dismissal of labor to assist the realization of company goals, employees and community.
DEFINITION HRM
1. Malay S.P. Hasibuan:
That is science and art of governing labor relations and the role of effective and efficient help for the realization of company goals, employee and comunity.Where HRM function consists of planning, organizing, directing, controlling, procurement, development, compensation, integration, maintenance, discipline and dismissal which aims for profitability profits the company gets larger than the percentage rate for employees bank.whereas will get satisfaction in her work, people get better goods and services at fair prices and always available in the market, the government hopes to get tax.
2. Edwin B. Flippo:
Personnel management is planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the procurement, development, compensation, integration, maintenance, and dismissal of employees for the purpose of the realization of corporate objectives, individuals, employees and community.
3. Dale Yoder
Personnel management is a provider of leadership and direction to employees in jobs or their working relationship.
4. Andrew F. Sikula
Administrative staffing is the placement of people into a company, where implementation of human labor is the procurement, maintenance, placement, indoctrination, training and human resource education.
5. John B. Miner and Mary Green Miner
Personnel management is a process is developing, implementing, and assessing the policies, procedures, methods, and programs relating to individual employees within the organization  ( Drs. H. Malayu S.P Hasibuan )
